These steps are for a ClientSuccess Admin to authenticate your CRM integration within the Global Settings of ClientSuccess. For each CRM, you will need a CRM user with admin credentials.
Authenticating to your new Integration Platform
Please select your CRM from the list below.
Salesforce
HubSpot
Zoho
Pipedrive
Salesforce
- Begin by navigating to Global Settings (ClientSuccess Admin Users and above have access to this page) > Integrations (New). What you see here is the platform you will use to connect your CRM to ClientSuccess. From here click the "Start Integrating" button.
- From here click "Connections" underneath "Assets" to see a list of all available connections.
NOTE: You may need to wait a few seconds before this screen fully appears. If the screen appears with all "0's" next to the list of Assets, please wait a few seconds and click your browser's refresh button.

Please select "SF | Con | Salesforce Connection".

If you are connecting to a Salesforce account with a custom domain URL (e.g. mydomain.salesforce.com), please click "Advanced Settings" and enter your custom domain URL. Please make sure your URL ends with .com and NOT a "/"
NOTE: Please ensure you're using the Salesforce Classic URL format, not the Lightning URL format.
- If you are connecting your ClientSuccess sandbox account to a Salesforce sandbox account, change the "Sandbox" dropdown to "Yes". This will change the login URL to test.salesforce.com
- Click Connect
- A new window will pop up asking you to sign in. Using Salesforce credentials with permissions equivalent to a Salesforce Admin, sign in to Salesforce.
- Click Accept to agree to the required permissions for your Salesforce instance to communicate to ClientSuccess
- You should now be taken back to the Connections screen and the right side of your Salesforce connection screen should now say "Connected"
HubSpot
- Begin by navigating to Global Settings (ClientSuccess Admin Users and above have access to this page) > Integrations (New). What you see here is the platform you will use to connect your CRM to ClientSuccess. From here click the "Start Integrating" button.
- From here click "Connections" underneath "Assets" to see a list of all available connections.
NOTE: You may need to wait a few seconds before this screen fully appears. If the screen appears with all "0's" next to the list of Assets, please wait a few seconds and click your browser's refresh button.

Select "HS | Con | HubSpot Connection".
NOTE: Make sure you select the "HS | Con | HubSpot Connection" not "HS | Con | ClientSuccess HubSpot App Connection (IGNORE)"
- Click Connect
- After selecting "Connect", a new window will open up allowing you to select the HubSpot instance that you want to authenticate to ClientSuccess. If you do not see a new window pop up, please disable your pop-up blocker for this page.
*Note*: Please ensure that you authenticate using the credentials of one of your HubSpot "Super Admins". If you attempt to authenticate with any other HubSpot User type, you will receive an error.
*Note*: When you authenticate your HubSpot to ClientSuccess, ClientSuccess will only receive access to whichever HubSpot instance, and the associated data, that you select on this page. ClientSuccess will not receive access to all HubSpot instances listed in your options, as seen on the screenshot below.
- Check the permissions checkbox that appears in the next pop-up and click "Connect App"
- You should now be taken back to the Connections screen and the right side of your HubSpot connection screen should now say "Connected"
Zoho
- Begin by navigating to Global Settings (ClientSuccess Admin Users and above have access to this page) > Integrations (New). What you see here is the platform you will use to connect your CRM to ClientSuccess. From here click the "Start Integrating" button.
- From here click "Connections" underneath "Assets" to see a list of all available connections.
NOTE: You may need to wait a few seconds before this screen fully appears. If the screen appears with all "0's" next to the list of Assets, please wait a few seconds and click your browser's refresh button.
- Select "ZH | Con | Zoho Connection"
- Select your timezone and click "Connect"
- After selecting "Connect", a new window will open up allowing you to select the Zoho instance, if applicable, that you want to authenticate to ClientSuccess. If you do not see a new window pop up, please disable your pop-up blocker for this page.
- Please login with admin-level credentials
- You should now be taken back to the Connections screen and the right side of your Zoho connection screen should now say "Connected"
Pipedrive
Pipedrive requires authentication to two connections to configure the integration platform.
- Begin by navigating to Global Settings (ClientSuccess Admin Users and above have access to this page) > Integrations (New). What you see here is the platform you will use to connect your CRM to ClientSuccess. From here click the "Start Integrating" button.
- From here click "Connections" underneath "Assets" to see a list of all available connections.
NOTE: You may need to wait a few seconds before this screen fully appears. If the screen appears with all "0's" next to the list of Assets, please wait a few seconds and click your browser's refresh button.
- Select "PD | CON | Pipedrive Connection"
- Add your API token found in the Pipedrive API tab under Personal settings (Settings > Personal > API)and click "Connect"
- You should now be taken back to the Connections screen and the right side of your "PD | CON | Pipedrive Connection" connection screen should now say "Connected"
- Select "PD | CON | Pipedrive Custom Connector Connection"
- Add your x-api token and click "Connect"
