Custom Field Settings for Clients and Contacts

Learn how admins can create custom fields in ClientSuccess Global Settings > Field Settings

Custom fields can be used for almost anything and are displayed on each client record for easy access at the top of each, individual client record.

We support the following field types (with a 2,000 character limit on applicable field types):

  • Checkbox

  • Text

  • Integer

  • Decimal

  • Date

  • Link

  • Currency (with "$")

  • Picklist

  • Multi-Select Picklist

Custom fields can be added to both Client and Contact objects in ClientSuccess.

Client and Contact Custom Field Settings

ClientSuccess Admins or Managers can edit custom fields under Global Settings > Field Settings.

These client custom fields are also available as part of the global clients grid screen in order create segments.

Contact Custom Fields

Contact custom fields will be found on the individual contact record within a client record.
