How to Update your Microsoft Calendar Integration Credentials

Learn how to update your Microsoft Calendar integration credentials in ClientSuccess by disconnecting and reconnecting under Calendar Authentication.

Written by ClientSuccess

This guide provides a quick walkthrough for updating your Microsoft Calendar Integration credentials.

Detailed Instructions

Updating these credentials requires a brief "disconnect-to-reconnect" cycle. This ensures the system flushes the old cache and adopts the new parameters immediately.

Step 1: Access Your Settings

Navigate to the My Settings menu. This is usually located in the user profile section.

Step 2: Locate Calendar Authentication

Find the Calendar Authentication tab. This section manages the handshake between our application and your Microsoft account.

Step 3: Disconnect the Current Session

Before you can add new credentials, you must terminate the existing link:

  • Find the active Calendar connection.

  • Click Disconnect.

  • Note: This will temporarily pause email syncing, so it’s best to do this during a low-activity window.

Step 4: Connect with Your Credentials

Once disconnected, the option to Connect will reappear:

  • Click Connect Microsoft Calendar.

  • Follow the OAuth prompts to re-authorize your account.
