Overview

Everyone has their own formula for creating high-quality project plans —and no one knows your process better than you. With Baton, you can create project plan templates that your entire implementation team can use to kick-start their projects.

Templates are a way to ensure that your projects are standardized across the team. Team members will be able to use these to create as many projects from the same template as they would like. You can find these from your global navigation on the left side of your screen.

Template Insights

You can find some quick data points and before using a template you can click on the eye icon where you can have a quick view of your template's information.

Preview: Looking over your dates

Using your plan created in the previous step, the "Preview" step will map each phase, milestone and task to a specific date based on the on either the project start date or project due date (this can be configured at the bottom of the screen). This can help you to get a better understanding of how long each segment of your project will take.
