There are several options for adding contact data to ClientSuccess, each of which can be used individually or in any combination. It's a best practice to bring in active contacts only.
- Manual entry
- Use the contact data template and send to email@example.com for import
- Utilize a CRM integration for importing contact data
- Create or update contact data via our open API
Importing Data via Template
Our contact data template can be used to compile internal contact data for an import into ClientSuccess. Once completed, please send it to your CSM or via our in-app Help button on the (bottom right of any screen).
Please be sure to note the type and formatting field requirements in the import template.
The required fields are highlighted in Yellow in the import template.
Once you have the template populated, please submit to firstname.lastname@example.org, and copy your CSM. You will receive notification once it's completed.
If you are importing via CRM integration, please follow step 3 above.
If you are importing via API, please follow step 4 above.
