Custom fields can be used for almost anything and are displayed on each client record for easy access at the top of each, individual client record. There is a default limit of 20 custom fields per object (ie 20 client custom fields, 20 contact custom fields).
We support the following field types (with a 2,000 character limit on applicable field types):
- Currency (with "$")
- Multi-Select Picklist
Custom fields can be added to both Client and Contact objects in ClientSuccess.
Client Custom Fields
ClientSuccess Admins or Managers can edit client custom fields under Global Settings > Client Custom Fields.
If you'd like to set a default order other than the defaulted alphabetical order for either your fields or a value order inside one of the relevant fields, please contact our Support and they'd be happy to help you with that.
Client custom fields are visible in the client record header, as pictured below:
Contact Custom Fields
ClientSuccess Admins or Managers can edit contact custom fields under Global Settings > Contact Custom Fields.
