Once a task has been created and is assigned, you will be able to communicate with your project team by add public or internal comments to the task. Public comments can be read by anyone who has access to the project.

Commenting basics
There are two types of comments:

Public comments can be read by anyone who has access to the project. When you add a public comment, the task owner or anyone @-mentioned is notified via an email message with the 3 most recent comments (unless they unsubscribed from notifications). If the task owner or the person @-mentioned responds back to the email notification or comments in the task, their response is added as a public comment to the task. All of your communication is captured in the activity log.

Internal comments are only visible to your internal team, not to the client task owner or any other client users. If an internal user is @-mentioned and responds back to the email notification or comments in the task, their response is added as an internal comment to the task.

Adding a public or internal comment to a task
To add a comment to a task:

Select any task

Click on Activity

Enter your comment (remember to enable Internal if this intended to be an internal comment)

Click submit or cmd+enter
