Several options exist for adding clients to ClientSuccess. Each can be used individually or in-combination. We recommend that you only import existing clients.

Manually enter clients

Steps

1. Select "Add client" from the main menu.

2. Enter your client's information into the modal window that appears.

3. Click "Save Client Info."

Import clients via spreadsheet file

We are happy to import a spreadsheet file for you any time. Export your clients from another platform, compose your own file, or use this template and then send it in via our in-app chat. 

Note the type and formatting field requirements in the tables below.

  • External ID
    Format requirements: (none)
  • Client status
    Format requirements: Active, Inactive, Trial, or Terminated
  • Assigned CSM email
    Format requirements: (none)


Optional fields

  • Client-as-of date
    Format requirements: YYYY-MM-DD
  • Client type
    Format requirements: Client type must match a ClientSuccess Type
  • Assigned CSM name
    Format requirements: Assigned CSM must exist as a ClientSuccess Team Member
  • Assigned Sales Rep
    Format requirements: (none)
  • Salesforce Account ID
    Format requirements: 18-digit number
  • Street
    Format requirements: (none)
  • City
    Format requirements: (none)
  • State
    Format requirements: (none)
  • Zip Code
    Format requirements: (none)
